This degree programme aims to develop the skills and competencies required for the effective design of software systems. The course introduces students to a broad range of problem-solving techniques, all of which are directly applicable to the range of IT problems that arise in commercial settings. Students have the opportunity to work in teams as well as on solo projects.
Students who wish to exit after successfully completing Years 1 and 2 may do so and be awarded a Higher Certificate in Computing (HETAC)

Progression
On successful completion of the ordinary degree, students may elect to transfer to the final year of the BSc (Hons) in Computing Science in Griffith College or external institutions.Careers
Following this course our students will be able to work as assistant software project leaders, computer technology consultants, MIS (Management Information Systems) personnel, software engineers, systems analysts, applications programmers, etc. across a wide range of industry sectors.For Undergraduate courses
